Dundee-born Eddie Mair has presented BBC Radio 4's nightly news and current affairs programme PM since 1998, garnering a slew of broadcasting awards. His interviews with newsmakers are often in the headlines. His weekly column in Radio Times takes a sideways look at radio and at life.

 

Eddie was launch presenter of Broadcasting House (BBC Radio 4), The Seven O'Clock News (BBC THREE) and of Time Commanders on BBC Two. Other credits include Eddie Mair Live (BBC Radio Scotland), Midday with Mair (BBC Radio Five Live) as well as occasional documentaries and presentation roles for BBC Four, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Two.  He has presented Newsnight on BBC 2 and The Andrew Marr Show on BBC1.  His main ambition is to have a more interesting CV.
