
Seamus Perry
Seamus Perry is a Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford, where he teaches English Literature, and a Lecturer in the English Faculty of the University of Oxford. He was formerly Reader in English Literature at the University of Glasgow. He is a specialist in nineteenth and twentieth century English poetry and has published books, editions, and essays on a wide variety of subjects in that area, including Wordsworth, Coleridge, Tennyson, Browning, T.S. Eliot, W.H. Auden, John Betjeman, among others. He appears regularly in the London Review of Books, the Times Literary Supplement, and elsewhere; and he is the editor, with Christopher Ricks, of the quarterly journal Essays in Criticism. He is a Trustee of the Wordsworth Trust.
