Louise Patten has worked in business since 1977, first in the banking world and from 1993 with global strategy consultants Bain & Company. Whilst still in her thirties, Louise broke through the then corporate glass ceiling to become a main board Director of her first FTSE 100 company. She has subsequently served on a number of multi-national Boards, not only as a Director but also as one of the tiny handful of female Chairman of substantial UK businesses.
Louise started writing as a hobby to pass the travel time on business trips. BAD MONEY, her first novel, was published by Quercus in September 2009. Her second business novel, GOOD AS GOLD, will be published by Quercus in September 2010.
